Thousands of houses in the central parts of the Swedish capital were suddenly left without electricity, the exact cause of the problem is still unknown.
This is reported by SVT.
Around noon on May 18, 27,500 consumers lost power in the central part of Stockholm, Sedermalm.
Electricity distribution company Ellevio, which is responsible for power in the area, said it was investigating the cause of the problem and it was not yet clear how long repairs would take.
Consumers were warned that in the next time the light may appear and disappear for a short time.
"We understand that this is a big inconvenience, but we hope to solve the problem as soon as possible and ask for patience," the company representative said.
According to him, the failure could have occurred due to "anything" - from careless actions of builders to certain technical malfunctions.
