Today, April 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyі signed the European integration law, which introduces a number of European standards in the field of civil aviation.
This was reported by the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to the law, state regulation will be simplified and prerequisites will be created for the earliest possible resumption of the activities of domestic air carriers and airfields.
In addition, the new changes adapt Ukrainian legislation to the norms of the European Union in the field of civil aviation.
"Only one out of four domestic passenger airlines continues to operate abroad. The restoration of the industry needs decisions already today, so that the companies that will be ready to fly in Ukraine immediately after our victory, will already work according to the updated rules. The adopted law - on the possibilities for the fastest possible restoration of air traffic, as soon as the security component will allow it," emphasized Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Serhii Derkach.
According to him, the adopted changes bring Ukraine even closer to the EU and the restoration of the aviation industry and make the market more understandable for international companies.
We will remind you that the other day Zelenskyі approved new rules for obtaining citizenship.
