In Moldova, near Chisinau, they plan to build a modern military base for the training of personnel of the national army. Its construction may take from three to five years.
This was reported in the statement of the head of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, Anatoly Nosatoy, quoted by Newsmaker.
According to him, money for the implementation of the project was allocated from the state budget.
"It is about creating an infrastructure from scratch that would allow for the placement of a military unit in accordance with modern standards. We want those who wish to work in the National Army to have decent conditions for working with modern classrooms, gyms, and simulators. We wish for good conditions for the placement of equipment, which we will receive soon," the minister said.
