President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to impose sanctions against 120 individuals and 287 legal entities.

 The corresponding decree No. 145/2023 was published on the website of the Head of the Ukrainian State.

 "In accordance with Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree: 1. To put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated March 10, 2023 "On the application and introduction of changes to personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)," the text of the document reads. 

 Among the bookmaking companies and lotteries, in respect of which sanctions were introduced - LLC "Sportloto", LLC "First International Bookmaker Company", LLC "Bet.Ru", LLC "CreditService", Ukrainian LLC "Parimatch", Financial Company "Leo", PokermatchUA .

 Of the five companies in the register that received a license from the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRAIL) for bookmaking activities, the decree applies to three: "Parimatch", "Your Betting Company" and "Play Fan Investment". At the same time, in the last two, KRAIL already canceled the licenses earlier - in September and December 2022, respectively. Two other companies in the register are Bookmaker company "Favbet" and "VBET Ukraine".

 FC "Leo" is a payment organization of the international payment system LEO, the shareholder of which is the co-owner of Ibox Bank Alyona Shevtsova, whose license was revoked by the National Bank this week, in particular, for violations related to the service of the gambling business.
