President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with King Charles III during his visit to Great Britain.

 This is reported by Sky News.

 The president had an audience with the British king at Buckingham Palace.

 Note that this is Zelenskyi's first meeting with King Charles III.

 According to Zelenskyi, during the negotiations, he congratulated Charles III on his recent accession to the throne and wished peace and prosperity to the British people.

 "It is an honor for me to be the first president of Ukraine in the entire history of Ukrainian-British relations, who was honored by the British monarch with his audience. I am grateful to his majesty for the warm welcome and support of Ukrainian citizens who found refuge from the war in Great Britain," added the president of Ukraine.

 We will remind that today the Ukrainian leader arrived on a visit to Britain. The President has already met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and discussed the implementation of the peace formula, Ukraine's accession to the EU and a number of other issues.

 After his visit to London, Zelenskyі is scheduled to fly to Paris, where he will hold a meeting with President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

 The Elysée Palace confirmed that a meeting of the presidents of France and Ukraine with the Chancellor of Germany will take place this evening in Paris.
