The head of the European Council illustrated the post with a photo of the Ukrainian delegation meeting him on the platform of the Central Railway Station in the capital.
"I returned to Kyiv to discuss all areas of cooperation. Let 2023 be the year of victory and peace," Michel wrote.

As the press service of the Council of the EU writes, the head of the European Council has already visited the rehabilitation center for Ukrainian soldiers.
"Amazed by the courage of the veterans in the rehabilitation center in Kyiv, which is financed by the EU. Ukraine is unbreakable," wrote Michel.
We will remind, on January 10, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Michel held telephone talks. Zelenskyі spoke about the situation at the front and the defense needs of Ukraine. "We agreed on joint efforts to implement the peace formula. We discussed expectations from the upcoming Ukraine-EU summit," he added.
Meanwhile, it is known that the 24th Ukraine-EU summit will be held in Kyiv on February 3. Among the priorities of the leaders' meeting will be the discussion of Ukraine's implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission, which are necessary for the transition to pre-accession negotiations with the EU, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba. Also, according to him, it will discuss the peace formula proposed by Ukraine and the strengthening of the sanctions regime against Russia.
