The defeat of Ukraine in the war with Russia can be a prelude to the Third World War - Morawiecki

The defeat of Ukraine in the war started by Russia may become a prelude to the Third World War. That is why our country must get all the necessary weapons from its partners.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki.

According to him, now Poland, Germany and Europe are at a unique point in history.

"Unfortunately, 30 years of liberal peace turned out to be three decades of illusion. Western Europe too easily believed that the Russian bear could be tamed," he said.

At the same time, Morawiecki noted that the defeat of Ukraine in the war against Russia could become a prelude to the Third World War. Therefore, according to him, there is no reason to block support for Ukraine and postpone cases indefinitely.

"I call on the German government to act decisively by supplying all types of weapons to Ukraine," he said.

The prime minister also added that doing business with Russia is like making a deal with the devil.

"This has become a noose around the neck of countries dependent on Russian gas. What for the West was simply a matter of failed business interests, has become a matter of life and death for such countries as Ukraine and Poland," he noted.
