Zelenskyi signed the law on vacations for military personnel during martial law

On December 20, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed the law on granting leave to military personnel during martial law. This is reported on the website of the parliament.

 According to the document, during the martial law, servicemen can take a part of the annual basic leave, as well as leave for family reasons and for other good reasons, while maintaining financial support.

 It is noted that each of the specified vacations can be granted for a duration of no more than 10 calendar days without taking into account the time required to travel within Ukraine to the place of the vacation and back, but no more than two days one way.

 At the same time, annual basic leave can be granted once during a calendar year in the simultaneous absence of no more than 30% of the total number of military personnel in the unit.
