Zelenskiy signed the law on the creation of a fund to liquidate the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, signed Bill No. 8027 on the creation of a fund for liquidation of the consequences of Russia's armed aggression in the 2022 budget. This is reported by the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

 

 The President signed the law on November 16, 2022. The document envisages the creation of a fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression as part of a special fund of the state budget, which will be filled with funds from the forced removal of objects of Russia and its residents.

 

 The money will be spent on the construction and reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities, including water and heat supply, housing for IDPs, the purchase of school buses, special vehicles, equipment for medical institutions, computer and multimedia equipment for educational institutions, and compensation for wounded Ukrainians.

 

 The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on the creation of a fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
