Poland discovered a leak on one of the lines of the Druzhba oil pipeline. The cause of the damage is still unknown.
This was reported by the Polish operator PERN.
The leak was discovered in the evening of October 11. The place of damage is about 70 kilometers from Plotsk. The line that supplies oil to Germany is damaged. The other thread works without changes.
The operator states that the reasons for depressurization of the oil pipeline are still unknown. Emergency services are working at the scene.
It is worth noting that the Druzhba pipeline is the main route through which crude oil reaches Germany.
We will remind that recently three leaks were discovered on the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines. Some European countries suggest that it could have been sabotage.
