The Verkhovna Rada supported the draft law on voluntary military registration of women. However, registration will be mandatory for female doctors. This was reported by People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.
"Women who have a specialty and/or profession related to the corresponding military accounting specialty specified in the list approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and who are suitable for military service due to their health and age, may be taken into military service at their own request accounting of conscripts", says the document, the text of which was published by the People's Deputy.
At the same time, women who have a specialty and/or a profession related to medical activity must be registered as conscripts.
