Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is under medical supervision at Scotland's Balmoral Castle due to doctors' concerns about her health. All of the children of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain are either already at Balmoral Castle in Scotland or on their way there. This was announced in Buckingham Palace, writes Sky News.

"Following further assessment this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned about Her Majesty's health and have recommended that she remain under observation. The Queen remains at Balmoral," the statement said.

The Queen adjourned a Privy Council meeting the day before after doctors advised her to rest.

On Tuesday, the Queen met outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson before appointing the new Prime Minister, Liz Truss, at Balmoral. For the first time during her reign, she appointed the head of government above Buckingham Palace.

Liz Truss said that "the whole country is deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace".

"My thoughts - and those of people across our United Kingdom - are now with Her Majesty the Queen and her family," she wrote on Twitter.
