The Russian occupiers are trying to advance in the direction of the villages of Zaytseve and Mayorsk of the Donetsk region with the offensive actions of the so-called "Kadyrovtsy" unit, the fighting is currently continuing, according to operational information on the Russian invasion as of 6:00 p.m. Friday, published on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
At the same time, as noted in the summary, during the past day the enemy tried to advance in 4 directions, but everywhere without success.
"In the Kharkiv direction... the defense forces successfully repelled an enemy attack in the area of Husarivka settlement... In the Bakhmut direction... the defense forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the directions of the Soledar, Bakhmutske, Vesela Dolyna settlements. In the Avdiiv direction... with offensive and assault actions, the position in the directions of the settlements of Pershotravneve, Dosvidchene and Nevelske was tried. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Defense Forces, the enemy was pushed back to the previous positions... In the South Buz direction... the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled the enemy's offensive near Visokopil' and Potemkino" - told the General Staff.
The enemy continues to carry out air and missile strikes on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, at night and in the morning, 5 rockets were fired at the city of Kharkiv, two of them from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. At the village of Ivanivka, Chuguyiv district, Kharkiv region, he fired 23 rockets from the Grad and Uragan salvo fire systems, two of them with cluster munitions. Remote demining of the area was carried out in the area of the village of Lebyazzhya, Chuguyiv district.
The enemy also carried out 9 airstrikes on the settlements of Maryinka, Soledar, Peremoga, and Zaytseve in the Donetsk region.
The occupiers continued shelling from tanks, mortars, barrel artillery and rocket salvo fire systems in the Kharkiv, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Avdiyiv, Novopavlovsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Yuzhnobuz directions. In the Siversk direction, the enemy maintains separate units in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions and has shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions from its territory.
The situation remains unchanged on the Volyn and Polissky directions. Control inspections of units continue in Belarus, as well as preparations for regular military exercises. In the city of Brest, the deployment of UAV units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, which are involved in the reconnaissance of the border areas of Ukraine, was discovered.
