Russia intends to obtain a part of the Georgian resort of Bichvinta by means of an agreement with the so-called "Republic of Abkhazia". Such intentions are another form of annexation by the Kremlin. Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said this on Twitter.
"What we see in Bichvinta is a form of annexation of Georgian territory by Russia. We see the sharp reaction of people to these events. This is the result of an ongoing occupation. I categorically condemn this and call on the international community to react strongly", she stressed.
It is worth noting that earlier an agreement between Russia and "the Republic of Abkhazia" was spread around the net that stipulated "renting" of a relic grove, embankment and water area, which are located in Bichvinta from Russia.
In total, the Russians can annex about 186 hectares of land and 115 hectares of sea area.
What we’re seeing in Bichvinta is a form of annexation of Georgian territory by Russia. We see a strong popular reaction to the developments. This is the result of continued occupation
