Russia wants to create its own "tribunal" over Ukraine with Iran and Syria

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, stated the need to create its own "tribunal" over Ukraine for its alleged crimes in the Donbass.

He said this in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.

"The creation of such a tribunal under the auspices of the UN in the current perspective is extremely doubtful. This issue would be more appropriate to work out with Russian partners in such organizations as the CIS, CSTO, BRICS, and SCO," he said.

According to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the establishment of the court and its statute would be formalized by an agreement between Russia and the member countries of the organizations, as well as the "L/DPR".

At the same time Bastrykin finished that "neutral" countries in Ukraine should join the "tribunal". In particular, Syria, Iran, and Bolivia.
