The French government has warned against the high probability of a complete cessation of Russian gas supplies to Europe. The French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire is convinced of this. This is reported by DW.
"We will be preparing for a complete cessation of Russian gas supplies, today this is the most likely option," the European media quoted the French minister as saying during a speech at a conference "Economic meetings" in Aix-en-Provence.
According to the French official, the energy crisis is the "most important topic for the next few months," so we need to prepare for a complete disconnection of Russian gas and accelerate the achievement of energy independence of Europe.
Recall that Russia is already not supplying certain countries with gas, including those who refused to pay in rubles.
