According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian occupation troops may try to go on the offensive in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, and try to encircle the AFU units. This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar at a briefing in the media center "Ukraine - Ukrinform".

"On the Zaporizhzhia and Novopavlovsk directions, according to the SMUR of the Defense Ministry, it is not excluded that the enemy conducts offensive actions in the direction of Zaporizhzhia and/or making a detour in the direction of Bolshaya Novoselovka-Pokrovske, obviously with the purpose of encircling our units. It is also not ruled out that for this purpose the units of the Russian occupation troops in the above direction are reinforced by at least five battalion-tactical groups," the official noted.

Malyar added that in the Kriviy Rih and Mykolaiv directions the enemy will try to hold the seized territories of the right-bank part of the Kherson region and conduct sabotage and reconnaissance activities on the coast of the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

According to her, the enemy is currently conducting warfare to exhaustion.
