Macron's coalition wins the first round of parliamentary elections by 0.1%

French President Emmanuel Macron's coalition "Together!" wins the first round of parliamentary elections with 25.71% after processing 100% of the votes. "Jean-Luc Melanchon's New People's Environmental and Social Union was 0.1% behind the coalition.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the voting results.

Marine Le Pen's party came in third place.

Voting results:

"Together!" - 25,71%;

"New People's Environmental and Social Union" - 25.61%;

"National Union" - 18.9%.

According to official data as of 17:00 (18:00 Kiev time) the turnout was 39.4%. According to the Ipsos-Sopra Steria public opinion research institute, slightly more than half of the voters did not come to the elections - 52.50%. This is an anti-record, registered for the first time in the history of France.

Recall that on April 24, the incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron won the second round of the presidential election, 17.1% ahead of Marine Le Pen.
