The British company Blighter Surveillance Systems will transfer radar systems for detecting enemy drones to the AFU.
Part of the A422 radars will be handed over to the AFU in June. The A422 is a military medium-range airborne security radar. It is capable of detecting and reporting air and ground targets up to 20 km away. It is ideal for detecting low, slow and small objects.
The system is designed for rapid deployment from vehicles and can be used for battlefield reconnaissance, remote border surveillance and perimeter security, Country reports.
