Russian invaders launched a rocket attack on Sloviansk in Donetsk region overnight, there are casualties, the head of the Donetsk RSA Pavel Kirilenko said.


"At least three people were killed, six were wounded as a result of a missile strike launched by the Russians overnight on Slavyansk. A school and at least seven apartment buildings were damaged," Kirilenko said on Facebook.


According to him, it will be possible to speak about the exact number of victims and victims after the completion of rescue operations.


"This airstrike is another crime of the Russian occupation troops on our land, the victims of which are civilians. Once again I repeat that there are no safe places in the Donetsk region, so again I call: evacuate - save your lives. Putin is waging a war to exterminate Ukrainians," Kirilenko stressed.


The General Staff of the AFU reports that in the Slavyansk direction the enemy carried out shelling of civilian infrastructure in the areas of Dovgenkoye, Vernopolye, Grushevakha and Bolshaya Kamyshevakha settlements. There was an attempted assault near Dovgenkoye, the enemy was unsuccessful and withdrew to previously occupied positions.
