The General Staff of the AFU told about the situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 97th day of the confrontation with the Russian occupants. The threat of missile and aviation strikes from the territory of Belarus remains.

In the Seversk direction the enemy did not conduct active operations. The occupants carried out mortar shelling of settlements in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the invaders continue to prepare for an offensive, studying possible ways of advancement, supplying weapons and military equipment and material supplies from the territory of the Russian Federation.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Terny, Lozovaya, Protopopovka, Rudnevo, Sokolovka and other settlements.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy concentrated its main efforts on holding the occupied lines and supply routes and creating conditions for further offensive. It carried out shelling of civilian infrastructure in the areas of Dolgenkoye, Vernopolye, Grushuvakha and Velyka Kamyshevakha.

There was an attempted assault near Dolgenkoye, but the enemy withdrew to previously occupied positions without success.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the occupants conduct assault actions in the area of Severodonetsk and Toshkovka settlements, combat operations continue.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted combat and assault actions in the areas of Zolote, Kamyshevakha, Nyrkovo, Berestove, Pokrovske and Dolomitnoye settlements. With no success, the combat operations continue.

In Avdeevsky, Kurakhovsky, Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhsky directions the enemy is trying to strengthen the grouping and replenish losses at the expense of obsolete and recovered equipment. The invaders conducted aerial reconnaissance and carried out air strikes on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka and Novoandreyevka.

The enemy did not conduct active combat operations in the Yuzhnobugsk direction. The enemy carried out fire attacks on civilian objects in the areas of Oleksandrivka, Pribuzhske, Posad-Pokrovske, Novohrigoryevka, Osokorivka, Knyazevka and Trudolyubovka.

In the Bessarabian direction on the territory of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, there are no significant changes in the activity and position of the operational group of Russian troops.

The main efforts of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov are concentrated on maintaining a favorable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

In the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy continues to carry out illegal actions against citizens of Ukraine.

During the previous day, Air Force strike aircraft conducted fire strikes against individual enemy units in Kharkiv Region, Donbass, Luhansk and Kherson Regions. Units of anti-aircraft missile forces in Odessa Region shot down an X-22 cruise missile.
In the past 24 hours, eight enemy attacks were repelled in Donetsk and Luhansk directions, one tank, four artillery systems, five armored fighting vehicles and two enemy vehicles were destroyed. Air defense units shot down an X-59MK cruise missile.
