Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than 689 children have been affected. Of these, 243 have been killed and 446 injured.
This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The office notes that these figures are not final, as work continues to install them in places of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Thus, the most affected children in the Donetsk region - 153, Kyiv - 116, Kharkiv - 111, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 52, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 47, Zaporizhzhia - 29, Sumy - 17, in the city of Kyiv - 16, Zhitomyr - 15.
In particular, yesterday a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were wounded as a result of the occupants' shelling of Kharkiv and Korotych village in the Kharkiv region.
They also add that due to constant bombing and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by Russian troops, 1,909 educational institutions were damaged. At the same time, 180 of them were completely destroyed.
