Today, May 26, military exercises in Belarus will be held near the Belarusian-Ukrainian border with the Volyn region. This was announced by the head of the Brest City Executive Committee Alexander Rogachuk.

"... The Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are holding the next stage of verification of the reaction forces. On May 26, control and tactical exercises will be held in our city, during which the interaction of special operations forces with the aviation will be established," Rogachuk said in Telegram.

According to him, in particular, as part of the implementation of the tasks will be practicing the actions of airborne units in urban conditions with overcoming the water obstacle.

"From 11:00 on the section from the Center for Youth Creativity to the Euroopt on Varshavka military equipment will begin to force the Mukhavets. The overcoming of the water obstacle will be accompanied by helicopters and attack aircrafts. In connection with the control and tactical exercise, a lot of military vehicles will be concentrated in the vicinity of the ITC, Rogachuk said.

He noted that after performing the stage in urban conditions, paratrooper units will go to the Brest training range for further tasks.

"All activities take place within the framework of tactical exercises, there is no reason to worry," Rogachuk claims.
