"Today we finished the work in Desna. Unfortunately, 87 victims were found under the rubble. 87 corpses, murdered lives," the president said.

 

He was asked a couple of questions. The president voiced information about Desna, answering the question how he sees the future of Ukraine.

 

Zelensky noted that as president of a country at war he thinks about the present day of Ukraine and how many people die every day.

 

As a reminder, on the morning of May 17, Russia launched a missile attack on the village of Desna in the Chernihiv region.

 

It later became known that the number of casualties rose to 11 and 14 more people were wounded.
