Moldovan President Maia Sandu condemned the attempts to jeopardize the peace in the country, including in the unrecognized Transnistria. This is reported by Agora

 

The Moldovan leader made a statement after a meeting of the Supreme Security Council. Sandu called the deterioration of the situation in Transnistria a consequence of the "tension between various forces" within the region. It is they who are interested in destabilization.

 

"This fact makes the region vulnerable and creates risks for Moldova. We condemn any provocations and attempts to involve Moldova in actions that endanger the peace in the country. Chisinau continues to insist on a peaceful resolution of the Transnistrian conflict," the president said.
