Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 208 children have been killed. Another 376 have been injured.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"More than 584 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. At the same time, 208 children were killed. And 376 were injured of varying degrees of severity," the report says.

The department notes that these figures are not final, as work continues to install them in places of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Thus, according to prosecutors, the most affected children in the Donetsk region - 119, Kyiv - 113, Kharkiv - 91, Chernihiv - 57, Kherson - 44, Mykolaiv - 41, Luhansk - 36, Zaporizhzhia - 25, the capital - 16, Sumy - 16, Zhitomyr - 15.

In particular, on April 20, as a result of artillery shelling by the Russian military in the village of. Novaya Zarya in the Bilozersk district of the Kherson region and a shell hitting a residential house killed two people, including a 16-year-old teenager.

Also yesterday, as a result of the shelling of civilian infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv, an 11-year-old girl was wounded.

At the same time, the body of a 15-year-old teenage girl who was fatally wounded in the lungs was found in the village of Borodyanka, Kyiv region.

It also became known that in the first half of March 2022 in the village of Klavdiyevo-Tarasovo of Buchansky district of Kyiv region the Russian military shot a civilian car in which a man with two daughters aged 7 and 11 was riding. The children were seriously wounded. The younger child died before regaining consciousness, while the older one was saved.

At the same time, it was established that on March 4, a father and his 7-year-old daughter were wounded as a result of shelling in the village of Gorenichi in the Kyiv region.

In addition, on March 13, during the occupants' shelling of the m. Kreminna, Severodonetsk district, Luhansk region, a 13-year-old boy was wounded.

Due to the bombardment and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 1,141 educational institutions were damaged, of which 99 were completely destroyed.
