Russian Federation hits our cities with missiles, which Ukraine transferred to it under the Budapest Memorandum - Arestovich

Russia uses against Ukraine the missiles received from our country under the conditions of the Budapest Memorandum.

Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this during a national telethon.

According to him, the enemy will strike missiles until the end of the war, because it has substantial stocks of missiles, some of which it received under the terms of the Budapest Memorandum.

"They are hitting with airborne missiles that Ukraine gave them under the Budapest Memorandum. There is a great irony in this. And they have hundreds more such missiles. Taking into account that they usually have 5-12 missiles in a rocket salvo, not more, we can count how many missiles they have left," said Arestovich.

Budapest memorandum is an international agreement between Ukraine, the U.S., Russia and the UK on the non-nuclear status of Ukraine concluded on December 5, 1994.
