The General Staff of the AFU told about the situation on the fronts after the activation of the new phase of Russia's war against Ukraine, and about the operational situation at the beginning of the 55th day of our defenders' confrontation with the enemy invasion.

The enemy is trying to continue offensives in the Eastern operating zone to establish full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as to provide a land corridor with the occupied Crimea.
The occupiers' missile and aviation strikes on civilian objects throughout Ukraine have not stopped. Thus, yesterday there was an intensification of rocket attacks on facilities in the western regions of our country.
In the Slobozhansky and Donetsk operational areas, Russian troops are carrying out offensive and assault actions in certain directions.
"The enemy continues to move weapons, military equipment to Ukraine from the central and eastern regions of the Russian Federation. Along with the combat units, the transfer of support units is carried out," the General Staff told.
In addition, the invaders are deploying logistics centers and creating field bases for repair and restoration of damaged equipment, in order to improve the system of logistical support.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues a partial blockade of Kharkiv.
The General Staff reported information that in order to organize the air defense system of the offensive grouping, the enemy is transferring additional anti-aircraft missile divisions of the Tor air defense systems to the Kharkiv region. At the same time, anti-aircraft missile divisions S-400 and S-300 have been deployed in the Russian Belgorod Oblast bordering Ukraine to cover the main command and control points as well as rear areas.
On the Izyum direction, Russian troops are conducting offensive operations on the left bank of the Seversky Donets River. The enemy has established a system of main and reserve firing positions of rocket and barrel artillery to support its grouping in this direction.
In the Donetsk and Tavrichesk directions, the occupants intensified their offensive actions along the entire line of contact.
Thus, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on breaking through the defense of Ukrainian forces in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as establishing full control over Mariupol. In Zaporizhzhya region, Russian troop units are being concentrated in certain areas.
In the Yuzhno-Buga direction, the main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on reaching the administrative border in Kherson Oblast. To improve the tactical situation, the occupiers are trying to conduct offensive actions in the area of Aleksandrovka. Also, the Rashists do not stop shelling civilian objects in Mykolaiv.
No significant changes are recorded in the Volyn, Polessk and Siversk directions.
"The Republic of Belarus continues to provide its territory for air strikes on the territory of Ukraine and reconnaissance of objects on our territory," the report says.
The General Staff said that according to the available updated information, the losses of the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are up to 75%. The 810th Independent Marines Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet has lost 158 servicemen killed and about 500 wounded, and 70 servicemen are missing in action.
A significant part of servicemen of such brigades wrote reports to refuse to take part in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, the AFU repulsed 7 enemy attacks in Donbass, destroying 10 tanks, 18 armored vehicles and 8 vehicles, one artillery system, as well as an enemy mortar with a crew.
A group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of the AFU during the previous day hit 7 air targets: 1 aircraft, 4 UAVs and 2 cruise missiles.
