Center for Military and Legal Studies: Russia will no longer be able to produce "hypersonic" "Dagger" missiles

Alexander Musiyenko, head of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, stated that the Russian Federation is deprived of the possibility to continue programs of production of modern weapons such as "Dagger". Musiyenko said this in a TV marathon.

"To produce modern missiles or modernize the existing ones - the Russian Federation is deprived of such opportunities. Because if the Russian defense industry complex had earlier problems, debts to banks, failure to fulfill, by the way, the defense order in Russia in 2018-19, now, after the West imposes additional sanctions exactly against the defense industry sector of Russia, they are actually deprived of access to the key elements that are needed to modernize and produce modern weapons," Musienko said.

He also noted that the Asian countries, with which Russia tried to establish contacts, do not even want to deal with the Russian occupiers.

"Today we can say that, let's say, the components, raw materials and necessary elements in order to continue such programs as with "Dagger", with other similar, hypersonic weapons, the Russian Federation is actually deprived. The Asian countries with which Russia tried to establish contacts do not even want to deal with them. That is why this is a positive signal for us in the sense that they have no technology and production capabilities to replenish their arsenals, but it decreases and decreases," added the head of the Center for Military and Legal Researches.

It should be noted that U.S. officials confirmed that Russia had launched hypersonic missiles against Ukraine, which was the first known use of such missiles in combat.
