The General Staff of the AFU told about the ongoing fighting in the Donetsk and Tavrichesk directions, and about the operational situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 50th day of the confrontation of the defenders of Ukraine with the Russian full-scale invasion.

Russian troops continue to build up an air grouping near Ukraine's eastern border, reinforce artillery units, and optimize command, reconnaissance and medical support systems.

The constant threat of the enemy's use of missile strikes throughout our country - remains. The General Staff noted that the occupiers continue to conduct systematic missile and bomb attacks on military and civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

The enemy did not take active actions in Volyn and Polissya directions. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces continue to perform tasks to cover the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel regions. Scheduled combat training activities are also underway. In the Belarusian town of Kholmich, locals say that allegedly Ukrainian units can attack the territory of Belarus at any time.

In the Siversky direction, Russian troops are regrouping units of the Central Military District from the territory of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Then, after regaining combat effectiveness, the enemy sends them to concentrate in the Belgorod and Voronezh Regions. The enemy strengthens control of the border, engineering the positions, strongholds and ensures the presence of a small number of personnel, weapons and military equipment.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the occupants conduct reconnaissance of probable directions of attack, increase the system of intelligence, control and medical support. The Rashists continue to partially blockade Kharkiv by shelling the city with artillery, regrouping units and resupply.

In the Donetsk and Tavrichesk directions, the enemy conducted combat operations in the areas of Slavyansk, Popasna and Kurakhovo and assault actions in Mariupol. All without success. The fighting now continues.

According to the General Staff, individual units of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District are being used to reinforce the enemy grouping near Severodonetsk.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions the enemy continues forced mobilization. In particular, in Gorlovka there are daily rounds of private and apartment blocks.

"In addition, it has been established that the Russian command set the task to mobilize 60-70 thousand people on the territory of the so-called "DPR". However, the specified figures were fulfilled by only 20 percent," the summary reads.

On the South Bug direction, the enemy is taking measures to restore combat readiness, replenish ammunition, and carry out measures to engineer positions. Has a firing influence on the units of the AFU troops.

The Russian occupants are fighting in the area of Aleksandrovka. They are attempting to resume the offensive in order to regain lost positions near Osokorovka.

In Donbas AFU fighters over the past 24 hours repelled 8 enemy attacks, destroyed a tank, 4 units of armored and 6 vehicles, as well as 1 enemy artillery system.

Our units of anti-aircraft missile forces shot down 2 Russian fighter jets during the previous day.
