Vereshchuk calls for the evacuation of residents of Luhansk, Donetsk and part of Kharkiv region

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk calls on residents of Luhansk, Donetsk and part of Kharkiv region to evacuate to safe regions.

"The heads of military administrations in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts are asking the population to leave the borders of the oblasts and are doing everything to ensure that the evacuation takes place in an organized manner. This is necessary now, because then people will find themselves under fire and the threat of death. They won't be able to do anything and we won't be able to help. Because it will be almost impossible to stop the fire. We need to evacuate while there's still an opportunity. Now we still have one," the press service of the ministry quoted Vereshchuk.

The Deputy Prime Minister explained that the withdrawal of the occupant's troops from the Kiev and Chernihiv regions was not a goodwill gesture before the next round of negotiations.

"It was a gesture of iron will of our army, the authorities and all the Ukrainian people," she said and said that everyone should be ready for further escalation.
