Russian Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov threatened young people that they "will have to put on overcoats" if Russia's war against Ukraine fails. He made a statement to this effect at a meeting of the youth parliament under the State Duma.

According to him, President Vladimir Putin's strategy to "demilitarize Ukraine and fight Nazism" was supported in the State Duma, the Federation Council and the Security Council.
"If we do not solve these tasks, all those who are sitting here ... you will all have to put on overcoats," Zyuganov added.
