The command of the Air Forces of the AFU reported that currently 143 aircraft and 131 helicopters of the occupation troops have been destroyed.
"Having suffered serious losses in aviation equipment, and currently, according to the General Staff of the AFU, it is 143 aircraft and 131 helicopters, the enemy aviation tries not to enter our air defense zone, and also avoids direct contact with Ukrainian fighters. Therefore, it resorts to missile and bomb strikes, the effectiveness of which in military terms is highly questionable, but the civilian population suffers, houses are destroyed, the lives of innocent victims of war are cut short," reads the report.
The command also refuted another fake by Russian propaganda.
"The military leadership of the occupation troops almost daily reports to its citizens that the entire air defense system of Ukraine has been destroyed: 90% of the airfields and almost all of the anti-aircraft missile forces. Bullshit!
The enemy did not and does not control the Ukrainian sky. We can talk about a certain control by the occupants of the airspace in the temporarily occupied territories, where the enemy has already brought a lot of air defense equipment: S-300, S-400 "Buk "Pantsir" and "Tor", which are gradually destroyed by artillery, aviation and other firepower, "- noted the Command of the Air Force of the AFU.
