Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Russia's Belgorod Region, claims that the cause of the fire at the city's oil depot in the morning of April 1 was "an air strike from Ukraine.

The Russian official stated this in Telegram.

"The fire at the oil depot was caused by an airstrike from two helicopters of the Ukrainian armed forces, which entered Russian territory at a low altitude," he wrote.

Gladkov also said that there were no fatalities as a result of the incident, the mayor spoke about the injured.

"All resources are available to eliminate the fire. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is trying to localize the fire in the shortest possible period. The population is not threatened by anything," the Russian governor wrote.

A video of the explosion appeared in Belgorod's publicity pages, which is presented as "an attack by Ukraine" on the local oil depot. And they write: "Those two employees of the oil depot, officially described as injured in this morning's emergency, were not injured in the end. This has just been announced by the mayor Anton Ivanov.

As a result, tentatively, there were no casualties at all in the airstrike by Ukrainian helicopters on the oil depot in Belgorod.
