Before they left, Russian occupants robbed the Chernobyl nuclear power plant: they stole coffee makers, teapots, and computers

Russian occupants looted the Chernobyl nuclear power plant before leaving. The invaders stole kettles, coffee makers, and computers, among other things. Yevgeny Kramarenko, head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Management of the Exclusion Zone, told about it on the air of the telethon.

"They started taking out valuable things, packing in equipment that was still left at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant site, and partially leaving. They stole more or less valuable things - computers, some there coffee makers, kettles, several containers with property that was at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, they also loaded on their cars and drove out," said the official.

He added that the occupiers forbade the nuclear plant employees to leave their workplaces and noted that the employees were very careful when moving around the Chernobyl NPP and were afraid to go beyond its boundaries because the enemy could have left explosive devices.

He also noted that before leaving, the Russian occupants forced the ChNPP workers to sign an act of acceptance of the station. If not, they threatened to take the employees to Belarus.

"Now we cannot make sure whether there are occupants in the city of Chernobyl itself. There is a hotel there. And the occupiers even loaded sets, forks, spoons, plates that were in the hotel into the car," said the official.

We should remind you that yesterday it became known that the occupation forces had completely left the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
