Soldiers of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Mykolaiv SAS stopped a column of enemy equipment moving toward Mykolaiv. Three trucks with ammunition, two fuel tankers and a BMD-2 amphibious assault vehicle were destroyed.

About this on Facebook reported the Command of Airborne Assault Troops of the AFU.

Thus, it is reported that the paratroopers of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Nikolaev DSU of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Denis F. and Stanislav T., while conducting reconnaissance near Mykolaiv, discovered in time a column of Russian occupants, which was moving in the direction of the regional center. They targeted it with fire from an attached artillery unit.

The danger for the soldiers in this situation was that they essentially had to call down fire on themselves, but that did not stop the desperation.

"As a result of the coordinated actions of the scouts and artillerymen, three army trucks with ammunition, two fuel tankers and a BMD-2 amphibious assault vehicle were destroyed. Having suffered significant losses among its military equipment and personnel, the enemy was forced to halt the movement of the column in the direction of Mykolaiv and retreat," the report says.
