Already 144 children have been killed due to Russian armed aggression in Ukraine, more than 220 wounded, the Office of the Prosecutor General said.

"As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation as of the morning of March 29, 2022, 144 children were killed, more than 220 wounded. Children were most affected in the Kyiv region - 68, Kharkiv region - 49, Donetsk region - 54, Chernigiv region - 38, Mykolaiv region - 30, Lugansk region - 28, Zaporizhzhia region - 22, Zhitomyr region - 15, Sumy region - 15, Kherson region - 25 and the city of Kyiv - 16. Also established data on the dead and wounded children in the city of Mariupol", - said in a message in Telegram.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, on March 28, 2022 in Luhansk region from the mine blast injuries killed a 3-year-old child.

Also, on March 28, 2022, three civilians, including a child, were injured as a result of shelling of a village in Zaporizhzhia region by the occupants.

Due to bombing and shelling, 773 educational institutions were damaged, 75 of which were completely destroyed. Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhitomyr, Sumy, Kyiv, and Kherson regions suffered the most damage, the Office of the Prosecutor General pointed out.

These figures are not final, due to the lack of possibility to inspect the places of shelling, where the aggressor country conducts active combat operations and in the temporarily occupied territories.
