Kuleba denied Erdogan's statement about progress in negotiations with Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has denied Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's statement regarding the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. He assured that the sides have not yet reached any consensus. Kuleba said this in a commentary to Ukrainian Pravda.

"There is no consensus with Russia on the four points mentioned by the Turkish president. In particular, the only state language in Ukraine is and will be Ukrainian. And in general, the classification of the key topics of the negotiations into four or another number of points is incorrect. Many different issues are being discussed simultaneously in subgroups of the delegations", the minister noted.

Kuleba stressed that the negotiation process is difficult, the Ukrainian side will not agree to concessions and will not give up its conditions. In particular, among Ukraine's demands are a cease-fire, guarantees of security and territorial integrity.

"Ukraine will continue dialogue with Turkey and all other interested parties to restore peace on Ukrainian soil. We hope that Turkey, as a friend and strategic partner of Ukraine, will also continue to support on all tracks," the foreign minister added.

He recalled that an important component in the negotiation process is sanctions, which help stop Russian aggression on Ukrainian territory.

"Such a trilateral strategy - sanctions, military support, negotiations - should not be questioned by anyone," Kuleba stressed.
