U.S. President Joseph Biden will visit Poland on Friday to discuss the international response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The announcement was made Sunday by White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Reuters reported.

Biden will travel to Warsaw, where he will hold a bilateral meeting with President Andrzej Duda.

Biden's trip to Poland comes a day after he meets with NATO allies, G7 leaders and European Union leaders in Brussels to discuss international efforts to support Ukraine after Russia invaded, the White House said.

The White House also said Biden will hold a phone call Monday with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to discuss their coordinated responses.
