Ukraine and Russia begin the fourth round of talks on Monday, March 14, Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President, said.
"In just a few minutes negotiations with the Russian delegation will begin - the fourth round," Podolyak said in a video message on Twitter.
He said the 4th round of talks is "about peace, a cease-fire, the immediate withdrawal of all troops and security guarantees."
"Difficult conversation. Although the Russian Federation is aware of the ridiculousness of its aggressive actions, it remains under the illusion that 19 days of violence over peaceful cities is the right choice of strategy," Podolyak said.
"We will try to finally convey to them that the 19th day of the war is 19 days of the great, great feat of the country. Our positions are unchanged - peace, an immediate cease-fire, the withdrawal of all Russian troops. And only after that will we be able to talk about any kind of neighborly relations, about any kind of political settlements," the adviser to the head of the Civil Defense Ministry said in a video message.
Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman said Russia was showing "signs of readiness" to hold "real, serious talks.
