Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has ordered the preparation of a terrorist attack on the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This was reported by the Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"According to available information, Vladimir Putin gave an order to prepare a terrorist attack at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It is planned to create a man-made disaster at the ChNPP controlled by Russian troops, the responsibility for which the occupiers will try to shift to Ukraine," the intelligence officers reported.
So far, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been completely disconnected from the monitoring systems of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The plant is de-energized. The resource of the available diesel generators is designed for 48 hours to keep the safety systems running.
The occupiers refused to allow Ukrainian repairmen access to the plant. On the other hand, "Belarusian specialists," at the behest of Alexander Lukashenko, entered the plant. Among them, according to intelligence, Russian subversives, disguised as nuclear workers, also entered to organize a terrorist attack.
"For the sake of imitating the involvement of the Ukrainian military in the Chernobyl accident, the occupiers are trying to create fake "evidence" to support their version. In particular, Russian refrigerator trucks have been spotted near the Antonov airport in Gostomel collecting bodies of dead Ukrainian defenders. There is a possibility that they will be passed off as killed saboteurs in the Chernobyl zone," noted the SMP.
That is, according to the spies, having failed to get the desired result from a ground military operation and direct negotiations, Putin is ready to resort to nuclear blackmail of the world community for the sake of concessions to support Ukraine.
"Now both in Ukraine, the world and Russia understand that statements about Ukraine's involvement in creating a nuclear threat are only a staging in a talentless scenario. Regardless, such actions by Putin will have catastrophic consequences for the entire world. This seems to be what the Russian dictator is counting on, demanding unacceptable concessions," the CID added.
As a result of the actions of the Russian occupants, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been left without electricity, as well as all objects of the exclusion zone.
The day before, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that information from the Chernobyl and Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plants had stopped coming in.
