Victoria's Secret stores temporarily shut down in Russia

Stores of American lingerie, clothing and cosmetics brand Victoria's Secret are temporarily shut down in Russia. The message appeared on the official website of the company.

The work of offline stores will be frozen at 22.00 today, March 9. Shopping online is no longer available. Victoria's Secret clarified that all orders will be delivered. Customer service functions as usual.

After the start of Russia's "military operation" in Ukraine, many Western companies decided to suspend their activities in Russia. IKEA temporarily closed all stores, Volkswagen and Škoda decided to stop production and sale of cars in Russia, and Mercedes-Benz temporarily refused to supply cars and vans.

Farfetch and other online luxury stores have limited deliveries to the country. H&M has suspended operations, while the major Hollywood studios - Walt Disney, Sony, Warner Bros. and Paramount - will not be showing movies in cinemas in Russia.
