Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on the UN to refute reports that the Russian invasion and the war in Ukraine were banned from being called by their names. The head of the diplomatic department wrote this on Twitter.
"It is hard to believe that the UN could actually impose the same censorship that the Kremlin is now imposing inside Russia by banning the use of the words 'war' and 'invasion' among UN staff. I call on the UN to promptly refute such reports if they are false. The reputation of the UN is at stake," the minister wrote.
