U.S. and Europe are considering refusing to import Russian oil - Blinken

The United States, along with allies in Europe, is considering refusing to import Russian oil as a further response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told CNN.

"We are now talking to our European partners and allies and looking at a coordinated way in the prospect of banning Russian oil imports," he said.

Blinken added that to impose such a measure, we need to make sure there is enough oil on the market.
