UN General Assembly adopts historic resolution on Ukraine

The U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, March 2, voted in favor of a resolution demanding that Russia stop using force against Ukraine and withdraw all troops from our territory within internationally recognized borders.

There were 141 votes in favor, five against (Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, Eritrea) and 35 abstentions (including China, India, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, CAR).

The text of the resolution titled "Aggression against Ukraine" is published on the UN website.

We would like to add that Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the countries which voted for the resolution on the withdrawal of the Russian army from the territory of Ukraine.
