2,000 Ukrainian civilians killed in seven days of war - State Emergency Service

More than 2,000 Ukrainians, not counting defenders, died in the seven days of war, the State Emergency Service reported.

"In seven days of war, Russia destroyed hundreds of transport infrastructure, homes, hospitals and kindergartens. During this time, more than 2,000 Ukrainians have already died, not counting our defenders," the State Emergency Service wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

According to the SSChS, it was possible to save the lives of more than 150 people, to eliminate more than 400 fires that arose after enemy shelling, evacuate more than 500 people. Pyrotechnicians defused 416 explosive objects.

While performing the tasks 10 rescuers were killed and 13 were injured.

The State Emergencies Service also reported that on Wednesday the process of handing over to Ukraine seven units of modern fire and rescue equipment, which will immediately go into service of the rescuers.
