Video service YouTube has blocked Russian propaganda channels in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Information.
As of today, First Channel, Russia 24 and Russia 1, TASS, RIA Novosti, RBC, TV Channel Zvezda and a number of other channels are inaccessible in Ukraine.
"Thanks to YouTube for this decision. It's a big step towards our common victory. Now Russian channels are also gradually going the route of the Russian warship," the statement said.
Google Maps has blocked two features in Ukraine to keep Ukrainians safe.
The first is a real-time traffic overlay feature on Google Maps. Some researchers have used it to monitor the situation at a distance.
The second is the Live Business feature. It shows how popular a place can be at a certain point in time.
