Hungary assured in support of disconnecting Russia from SWIFT - the Prime Minister of Poland. And Dmitry Kuleba noted that in fact it has already been decided to disconnect Russia from Swift

Hungary supported the disconnection of Russia from the interbank system SWIFT. This was reported by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on his Twitter page.

"Today I spoke with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban again. And once again he assured me of his support for far-reaching sanctions against Russia. Including the blocking of the SWIFT system," Moravetsky wrote.

Meanwhile, the Hungarian foreign minister wrote on Facebook: "... they lie about Hungary blocking part of the sanctions against Russia, for example, in relation to the SWIFT system. Let's make it clear: this is not true! We have never spoken out against sanctions proposals, we have not blocked anything."

And Dmitry Kuleba noted that in fact it has already been decided to disconnect Russia from Swift.

Earlier it was reported that Cyprus will not block and Italy supported the disconnection of Russia from SWIFT.

The German government said it was ready to reconsider the decision to disconnect Russia from SWIFT.

According to CNN, there is a real possibility that the European Union may take the controversial step of disconnecting Russia from SWIFT, a high-security payment network that connects thousands of financial institutions around the world.
