Near the city of Chernihiv, the military repelled a breakthrough by Russian troops. At the same time, the enemy equipment was seized together with the documents of the Russians.
Valery Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of the AFU, reports this.
"On the Chernihiv direction and directly on the approach to Chernihiv, the Ukrainian military managed to hold the defense and repel the breakthrough of the Russian troops," he wrote.
According to him, the enemy equipment was forced to retreat from Chernihiv in the direction of Sedniv and from Gorodnya to Semenovka.
"Enemy trophies in the form of equipment and documents with the personal data of Russians were seized," Zaluzhny added.
Recall, meanwhile, the Russian occupiers continue to advance in the Kiev region. Enemy troops are approaching the settlement of Vorzel in the Irpin district.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively fighting near the settlements of Dymer and Ivankov in the Kiev Region.
