Ukraine broke off diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation amid the invasion of Russian troops. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during a briefing.
"This morning went down in history, but this history is different absolutely for our country and for Russia. And we broke off diplomatic relations with Russia. Ukraine is defending itself and will not give up its freedom, no matter what Moscow thinks," Zelensky said at a briefing on Thursday.
